Many rural Sri Lankans travel long distances everyday to fetch water from community wells and local bodies of water. They face many difficulties during times of adverse weather and in emergencies.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of Enoka De Silva, 50 rural families in the Ampara district no longer have to struggle to obtain water, as they now have pipe-borne water connections at their homes.
