The Foundation of Goodness is proud to announce the opening of three new Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) Water Purification Plants, bringing safe drinking water to thousands of families across Sri Lanka. These projects reflect our ongoing commitment to improving health, well-being, and quality of life for rural communities, particularly those affected by CKDU.
29th R.O. Plant – Uppalawatta School, Anamaduwa (Puttalam District)
On 29th January 2026, the 29th R.O. Plant project at Uppalawatta School, Anamaduwa, was officially declared soft open. Kindly sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Murtaza & Avanti Esufally in memory of Mrs. Fatema Jafferjee, this project will provide clean, safe drinking water to struggling communities.

- CKDU Patients Assisted: 19+
This life-saving initiative will significantly improve the standard of living in these villages, ensuring access to safe water for families and CKDU patients alike.




30th R.O. Plant – Palatuwawa, Kimbissa, Sigiriya (Matale District)
On 27th January 2026, the 30th R.O. Plant at Palatuwawa, Kimbissa, Sigiriya was declared soft open. This project was generously sponsored by Pimp My Tuk Tuk, and Paul Davies and Alex Longman participated in the opening ceremony.

- Total Beneficiaries: Approx. 7,720+
- CKDU Patients Assisted: 25+
This plant will provide safe drinking water to thousands, improving health outcomes and enhancing quality of life in communities at risk.




30th R.O. Plant – Palatuwawa, Kimbissa, Sigiriya (Matale District)
The 31st R.O. Plant project at Ellaper, Marunthankulam, Vavuniya, was officially opened on 28th January 2026, again sponsored by Pimp My Tuk Tuk, with Paul Davies and Alex Longman in attendance, representing the group.

- Families Benefited: 1,000+
- Total Beneficiaries: Approx. 4,000+
- CKDU Patients Assisted: 20+
This initiative is a vital step toward ensuring safe drinking water, reducing the risk of waterborne diseases, and strengthening community health in Vavuniya.




Transforming Lives, One Glass at a Time
Together, these three R.O. water purification projects now serve over 14,000 beneficiaries across 15 villages, offering clean water to families who previously faced daily challenges in accessing safe drinking water. For CKDU patients and vulnerable households, these plants are life-changing — restoring dignity, improving health, and strengthening long-term well-being.
