From 24th January to 7th February 2026, the Foundation of Goodness’ Village Heartbeat Empowerment Centres across the island proudly held their Graduation Ceremonies, celebrating the dedication, hard work, and remarkable achievements of our students. This is the second intake of students in 2025 to successfully complete their courses.
Our centres offer a wide range of free vocational and skill-development programmes, including language courses, computer and IT training, culinary and hospitality skills, and creative and vocational courses such as dressmaking and pattern making. Among these, Dressmaking, Computer Training, English, Tamil and Sinhala language courses, and Cookery-related programmes remain some of the most popular. Many students also choose to enroll in more than one course, allowing them to broaden their skills and make the most of the learning opportunities available at our centres. These courses provide a strong foundation and an exciting start to their journey, opening doors to new opportunities, confidence, and a brighter future.
Seeing our students step forward with new skills, growth, and determination fills us with immense pride and joy. These ceremonies were not only a recognition of academic and vocational accomplishments but also a celebration of resilience, community spirit, and the transformative power of education. We are thrilled to witness the next chapter of their journey and the positive impact they will bring to their families, communities, and beyond.
