Empowering Rural Students with Technology, Thanks to Superloop

We are delighted to share the generous support of Superloop Communication (Pvt) Ltd, who donated an incredible 158 computer screens to the Foundation of Goodness. These screens have now been distributed across several of our centres, including the Centre of Excellence in Seenigama, as well as the Dambulla, Udumulla, Kandy, Maskeliya, Hatton and Ragala Village Heartbeat Empowerment Centres.

Access to quality technology is often a challenge for our rural centres, as sourcing and maintaining computer equipment is both costly and logistically complex. With this donation, our students now have the opportunity to learn in a more engaging and interactive environment. These computer screens are already transforming classrooms, allowing children and young adults to explore educational resources, develop digital literacy and gain the essential skills needed in today’s technology-driven world.

For many of our students, these screens are more than just equipment; they represent new opportunities to discover, learn, and grow. From primary school children learning typing and basic software skills to teenagers practising coding and online research, the impact of this donation is already visible across our centres.

We are profoundly grateful to Superloop Communication for their generosity, which strengthens our mission to bridge the urban–rural divide and ensures that students in remote areas are not left behind in the digital age. Every screen brings us one step closer to providing equal learning opportunities for all.
