A generous shipment from Sam Atukorala, received in October last year, has since been distributed across Sri Lanka, reaching children, families, students, and young athletes through a range of community and educational initiatives.
The donation, which included cricket equipment, sportswear, clothing, books, stationery, and other essential supplies, was carefully allocated to schools, sports clubs, Village Heartbeat Empowerment Centres, and various grassroots programmes around the country.
Young cricketers have benefited from quality equipment and sportswear, enabling them to train with greater confidence and further develop their skills. Students have received learning materials that support their education, while clothing and essential items have provided practical relief and comfort to families and individuals in both everyday community settings and flood-affected areas, where urgent assistance was also required.
Spanning multiple regions of Sri Lanka, including rural communities, educational institutions, sports programmes, and areas impacted by flooding, the contribution has helped ease everyday challenges and open up new opportunities for those who received it.
